Cluster Rush
Match clusters of 3 or more adjacent symbols in a 4×4 grid. Six NZ-themed symbols, cascading drops, and fictional credits with every winning cluster.
Symbols & Clusters
Each round fills the 4×4 grid with these 6 NZ-themed symbols. Clusters of 3 or more orthogonally connected matching symbols create a win. The larger the cluster, the higher the fictional credit payout.
How Cluster Rush Works
Everything you need to know to start playing in under a minute.
- Set your stake using the + and − controls. Your stake determines how many fictional credits you risk per round. Higher stakes offer greater potential rewards.
- Press Start Round to fill the 4×4 grid with random symbols drawn from the six NZ-themed symbol set.
- The game automatically detects clusters of 3 or more orthogonally adjacent matching symbols — connected up, down, left, or right. Diagonals do not count.
- Winning clusters are highlighted and your fictional credit balance updates immediately. Cluster payouts scale with size: bigger clusters mean bigger rewards.
- Symbols cascade down after cluster clears, and new symbols drop in from the top. This can create chain reactions — a single round may trigger multiple consecutive wins.
- No cluster found? No problem. The round ends cleanly and you can try again with a fresh grid. There is no penalty beyond the stake you set.
All credits on PlaytimeNZ are fictional. They hold no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes, or goods. PlaytimeNZ is an 18+ entertainment-only platform.
Tips for Bigger Clusters
A few strategies to help you spot valuable patterns and maximise your fictional credit balance.
Scan the whole grid first. Before you commit to a round, take a moment to look at every symbol on the 4×4 grid. Some clusters are obvious at a glance, but smaller groupings hiding along edges or in corners can combine with cascading drops to create chain reactions that outperform a single large cluster.
Cluster size drives the payout. A minimum cluster of three matching symbols clears for a base payout. Clusters of four, five, or six symbols pay proportionally higher returns. When you see same-type symbols distributed across adjacent rows, the potential for a large cluster is high.
Watch for cascading drops. When a cluster is cleared, symbols above it fall downward and fresh symbols rain in from above. This cascade can automatically form new clusters without any additional action. A single well-timed cluster clear sometimes triggers a sequence of cascading wins that keeps paying out round after round.
Manage your stake wisely. Starting with the minimum stake gives you more rounds to learn the grid dynamics and symbol distribution. As you grow more comfortable with how clusters form and cascade, gradually increase your stake. There is no rush — every round is independent, and the grid resets fresh each time.
Cluster Payout Reference
How fictional credit rewards scale with cluster size. All values shown are based on the minimum stake of 50 credits.
| Cluster Size | Payout (50 stake) | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 3 symbols | 75 | 1.5× |
| 4 symbols | 120 | 2.4× |
| 5 symbols | 200 | 4.0× |
| 6 symbols | 350 | 7.0× |
| 7 symbols | 560 | 11.2× |
| 8+ symbols | 800 | 16.0× |
Payouts scale proportionally with your selected stake. A 100-credit stake doubles the values shown above. All credits are fictional.
Play Responsibly
Cluster Rush is designed as a form of entertainment, pure and simple. The credits you see on screen are fictional — they have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, or redeemed. Every round is an opportunity to enjoy the challenge of pattern recognition and the thrill of a cascading cluster, nothing more.
If you ever feel like taking a break, step away. The grid will be here when you return. PlaytimeNZ is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, pressure-free environment for adult entertainment.
